Miriam Novoa es una fotógrafa gastronómica con sede en Barcelona.
Su relación creativa con la comida y la fotografía comenzó hace muchos años, primero mientras trabajaba en varios proyectos artísticos y estudiaba artes visuales en su ciudad natal, Guadalajara (México), en un país donde a menudo se confunden el arte, la vida y la comida. Su contacto con la industria gastronómica ocurrió en Chicago donde trabajó con diversos chefs de renombre, y en donde a la par vivió el resurgimiento de los craft cocktails.
Al mudarse a Barcelona, estas dos vertientes creativas se unieron: inicialmente trabajó para Editorial RM, una editorial independiente conocida por su enfoque en la fotografía y el arte contemporáneo, antes de comenzar su carrera como fotógrafa gastronómica.
Actualmente, Miriam colabora en diversos proyectos para Projeccions, una agencia de marketing con una amplia variedad de clientes del sector alimentario.

Her creative relationship with food and photography began many years ago, first while working on various artistic projects and studying visual arts in her hometown, Guadalajara, Mexico—a country where art, life, and food are often intertwined.
Her connection to the culinary industry began in Chicago, where she worked with several renowned chefs and witnessed the rise of the craft cocktail. Upon moving to Barcelona, these two creative paths came together: she initially worked for Editorial RM, an independent publishing house known for its focus on photography and contemporary art, before starting her career as a food photographer.
Currently, Miriam collaborates on various projects for Projeccions, a marketing agency with a wide range of clients in the food sector.
